Cerovec pri Trebelnem is a small village in the Mokronog-Trebelno municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Ulrich (Slovene: Sveti Urh) and belongs to the Trebelno parish. It is first mentioned in written documents dating to 1526 and was rebuilt in the second half of the 18th century.[3]
